Business Economics
Business Economics is a specialized area of economics that uses economic and quantitative analysis to make strategic business, financial, and management decisions. Business economists study the allocation of scarce resources, and the resulting forces that shape our business, economy and society both locally and globally.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Economics can lead to many career opportunities in the public sector, financial institutions, marketing institutions, investment institutions, consulting firms, market research organizations, mergers and acquisitions departments, insurance companies, and international organizations.
Curriculum
A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration Business Economics Major. The major program is comprised of 36 required credit hours.

Business Concentration Core: 12 Credit Hours
12 credit hours of any College of Business 300/400 level coursework OR selection of a business minor or certificate.
Business Concentration Core will allow the student to select 12 credit hours of 300/400 level business coursework from any business discipline OR selection of a business minor or certificate to satisfy the Business concentration core for the Business Economics major.
