Economics Minor

Economics theories can be applied to many topics in business, banking, finance, government, education and the non-profit sector. The minor in Economics is available to business students and non-business students at Cleveland State University. For more information, contact businessadvising@csuohio.edu.

Economics Minor Requirements:

Core Courses (three classes, 9 credit hours)

  • ECN 201 - Principles of Macroeconomics
  • ECN 202 - Principles of Microeconomics
  • ECN 301 - Intermediate Macroeconomics or ECN 302 - Intermediate Microeconomics

Special note: If student takes both ECN 301 and ECN 302, credit for one will apply towards required courses and credit for the other will apply towards elective courses.
