Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students

The following scholarships are offered to incoming first-year students:

Glasscock Scholars Experience Program & Scholarship

Amount Awarded:

  • Full in-state tuition value for 12 to 18 credit hours for the fall and spring semesters for an undergraduate business degree at CSU for four years **Note: full tuition in-state value after any related financial aid or other scholarships are applied
  • Textbooks and course resources necessary for courses for an undergraduate business degree for the fall and spring semesters for four years **Note: Student must use the CSU Bookstore to purchase items
  • On-Campus dorm expenses and food plan for the fall and spring semesters for four years
  • ** The scholarship does not cover CSU various fee charges for each semester 

Renewable: Yes.

Scholarship Requirements:

  • Must be admitted into the Monte Ahuja College of Business as a freshman or sophomore student.
  • Student must be pursuing an undergraduate degree within the Monte Ahuja College of Business.
  • Applicant must have maintained a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average in high school.
  • Applicant must be an Ohio resident or understand the scholarship tuition gift will only cover funds at the CSU in-state tuition rate level
  • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen as defined by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Applicant must have demonstrated financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at FAFSA
  • Applicant must have demonstrated commitment to either community service or have held a job during high school.
  • Applicants can provide their most recent ACT or SAT scores to support their application; however, the ACT/SAT exam is not required to complete this scholarship application.
  • Note: The top four to five applicants must participate in an on-campus or virtual interview as part of the scholarship application.

Dr. Oya Tukel and John G. Dedinsky Supply Chain Management Scholarship

The Dr. Oya Tukel and John G. Dedinsky Supply Chain Management Scholarship was created by Tukel and Dedinsky (two Supply Chain professionals) in order to incentivize more high school students to study the undergraduate major of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University. 

Amount Awarded:

  • $1,500 each year

Renewable: 

Scholarship Requirements:

  • Incoming freshmen with a declared major in Operations and Supply Chain Management
  • Maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Be in good academic standing and continue to pursue and complete a major in OSM each year
  • Complete an essay discussing why the applicant would like to pursue a profession in Supply Chain Management
  • The Scholarship is renewable each year for three (3) years as long as recipients maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 and pursue the major of OSM
  • Total scholarship value per recipient for an entire academic year will be $1,500.
  • Submit SAT or ACT final exam results
  • Submit official high school transcripts

Monte Ahuja Scholarship: All Business Majors

Attention: The Monte Ahuja Scholarship application and process is overseen by the CSU Center of International Services & Programs (CISP).

Property Management Emerging Leadership & Scholarship 

The Property Management Emerging Leadership & Scholarship Program is a retention, degree completion, and career development program. Students selected to participate in this program will receive scholarship support and have selected to study the academic major of Property Management—Bachelor of Arts degree program and meet the scholarship requirements as listed below. 

The program provides options for students to participate in leadership and career workforce experiences, such as paid internships, and develop leadership skills with participation in leadership events and resources and graduate within a specific timeline based on the student's academic status. The Property Management Emerging Leadership & Scholarship Program focuses on developing educated college professionals to become future property management leaders within the Real Estate Property Management industry.

The scholarship will support two types of students (applicants), and an applicant can only apply for one type: a first-year student from high school or an incoming transfer student with specific coursework completed.

Incoming first-year requirements: first-year student from high school

  • The award may be received for a maximum of eight semesters based on the scholarship structure below:
  • Freshman Level: eligible for an award of $2,000
    Sophomore Level: eligible for an award of $3,000 - $4,000 (possible renewal)
    Junior Level: eligible for an award of $4,000 - $5,000 (possible renewal)
    Senior Level: eligible for an award of $5,000 - $5,500 (possible renewal)

Incoming transfer requirements: transfer student who completes the CSU 2+2 community college transfer guidelines

  • The award may be received for a maximum of four semesters based on the scholarship structure below:
  • Junior Level: eligible for an award of $4,000 - $5,000 (possible renewal)
    Senior Level: eligible for an award of $5,000 - $5,500 (possible renewal)

The Yardi Scholarship and Scholars Program

The Yardi Scholarship and Scholars Program will award scholarships to two students entering the Monte Ahuja College of Business as a first-year student from high school.  

  • Each student will receive $10,000 per year and will be required to maintain an overall 2.8 GPA to keep the scholarship for the full period of eligibility, which is four years from the start of the student’s first year at CSU and the Monte Ahuja College of Business. The scholarship is renewable annually for the next three years, and the selected student will be required to complete a renewal scholarship application.
  • In all, the scholarship will grant two selected first year students a total of $40,000 over their four years at the Monte Ahuja College of Business as the student completes their undergraduate business degree, participates in several required activities, and maintains an overall GPA of 2.8.
  • Students selected for the Yardi Scholarship will be identified as a Yardi Scholar.
