The Vir K. and Genella Sondhi Scholarship: All Business majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Preference is given to students with Indian descent; however, all students selected an awarded this scholarship
• Award amount: $1,000 - $5,000.00

Bruce Altman Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

David L. Balint Endowed Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Dean Paul Anders CSU Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship: All Business Majors

• College of Business students in sophomore or junior year.
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Eddie L. Hardy Memorial Scholarship: Freshman Business Majors

• Awarded to freshmen students with financial need
• Student pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Preference to Cleveland Public School graduates.
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

KeyBank (SMIF) Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Preference to finance majors; any business major can be awarded.
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Ron Coccari Business Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Ronald B. Davis Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Preference for students living in Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Stark or Summit Counties and majoring in International Business.
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Linda Kane Scholarship: St. Joseph Academy Graduates or Female Accounting and/or Finance Majors

• Awarded annually to female students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Preference is given to an Accounting or Finance
• Preference is given to St. Joseph Academy graduates
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

The McWilliams Piraino Scholarship: Graduates of Cleveland Heights High School and/or Graduates from Cuyahoga County High Schools 

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Awarded annually to graduates from Cleveland Heights High School and/or Graduates from Cuyahoga County High Schools
• First preference is given to graduates from Cleveland Heights High School
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Tres Angeles Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Overall GPA must be at least 2.5 at the time of application
• Must be a sophomore, junior or senior and on track to graduate in four (4) years from admission to CSU
• Award amount: $4,000 - $5,000.00

John R. Whitten Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Overall GPA must be at least 3.0 at the time of application
• Must be a junior or senior 
• Award amount: $2,000 - $5,000.00

Walter Schmidt Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

Ellis and Ann Yan Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $500 - $4,000.00

The Ted and Cindy Henry Family Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Overall GPA must be at least 2.3 at the time of application
• Award amount: $500 - $2,000.00

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Preference is given to St. Joseph Academy graduates, but not required.
• Award amount: $500 - $2,000.00

• Enrollment Requirements: Current undergraduate students must be registered for a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours for both the Fall and Spring semesters in the academic year in which they are awarded a scholarship. 

• Academic Requirements:

1. Current undergraduate students must have an overall GPA of at least 2.70 or higher at the time of application.
2. Prospective undergraduate students – Admitted into the Monte Ahuja College of Business; preference with a high school GPA of 3.0 or better.

• General Information:
  • Scholarships are applied to a recipients' CSU student account for the Fall and Spring academic semesters. Each recipient must meet the enrollment requirement of registering for at least twelve (12) credit hours for both the Fall and Spring semesters in the academic year in which they are awarded a scholarship. 
  • Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000 for the entire academic year (Fall and Spring Semester).
  • Applicants will be notified of scholarship outcomes via their Cleveland State University email account. No information will be provided via phone or during an academic advising appointment.
  • Please note summer scholarships are not offered.

Doug Peacock Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: The scholarship amount can range between $3,500 - $4,000 dollars . However, the value of the Doug Peacock Scholarship will vary per student because the scholarship is a “tuition and room/board balanced scholarship" which means the scholarship will be applied to the student's outstanding tuition and room/board expenses that are not covered by additional scholarship, grant or other financial aid awards. 
• Academic level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior

Joanna Charity Faber Scholarship: All Business Majors

• Awarded annually to one student pursuing a major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: The scholarship amount will be a maximum total value of $10,000 dollars for one full academic year which includes only the fall and spring academic semesters.
• Academic level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior

The Chia Fan Scholarship: Operations & Supply Chain Management Majors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing the Operations & Supply Chain Management Major offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $2,000
• Academic level: Sophmore, Junior and Senior

Paul J. Everson Scholarship: Finance Majors and Finance Minors

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a major or minor in Finance offered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business
• Award amount: $1,000 - $4,000
• Career interest in Real Estate
• Completion of CSU real estate courses - please this information on the application
• Academic level: Junior, Senior Undergraduate Students or Graduate Students

Application and Information dates:

• Open application date: December 1st of each year
• Close application date: April 15th of each year
• Applicants will be notified by their CSU email by July 1st of each year

NRP & Millennia Property Management & Real Estate Scholarship: Property Management or Real Estate Programs                   

• Awarded annually to students pursuing a Certificate in Real Estate and Property Management or a Minor of Property Management or a Major of Property Management
• Award amount: $1,000
• Career interest in Real Estate and or Property Management
• This is the first scholarship for a Minor or Certificate Program and so the applicant can purse a major within the College of Business or pursue a major outside of the College of Business
• Academic level: Sophomore, Junior or Senior Undergraduate Students

Accounting Scholarships for Undergraduate Accounting Majors

• The Department of Accounting Scholarships are awarded once per year in the Spring. Accounting Scholarship Applications for the Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 academic year will open on February 1, 2024 and the submission deadline date is Friday, March 8, 2024.
• Must be enrolled in an Accounting degree-granting program for Fall Semester with a minimum enrollment of six credit hours.

Monte Ahuja Scholarship: All Business Majors
