On Thursday, April 12, 2018 the Bernie Moreno Center for Sales Excellence hosted a panel discussion The Science of Sales: Key Trends Shaping Professional Sales. Dr. Seedhar Madhavaram, Marketing Professor, moderated. 

Panelists included:

Todd TrambaTodd Tramba, retired Vice President of Sales at TCC Technology Solutions

Todd has expertise in strategic selling of high-ticket technology solutions to large, complex, politically charged environments that address all business functions within Fortune 500 companies. His vast experience includes selling internationally in high risk/high reward opportunities. While at TCC Technology Solutions, Todd moved from the small business market, developed sales process, led marketing strategy, messaging, digital content and networking groups while growing the customer base by 40%.

Dan Yu

Dan Yu, Manager of Sales Science at Dealer Tire

Dan has been with Dealer Tire for 10 years, starting as an intern on the Supply Chain team.  Since then, she has held multiple roles within different functional areas including supply chain, strategy & new business development, finance and sales. In the most recent 2 years, Dan is responsible for leading the Sales Science team, delivering insightful analysis to Sales Leadership, and evaluating goals and compensations that help drive greater productivity for the field team. Dan has a keen interest and focus on using business analytics to drive decision making and has been a pioneer in this field.  Dan is a Weatherhead alumni, a certified supply chain professional (CSCP) and a CFA Level 3 candidate. 

Tony BarbaTony Barba, Territory Manager at Fay Industries

Tony has been at Fay Industries for 11 years and is currently a Territory Manager. He has a demonstrated history of working in the steel sevice center industry and is highly skilled in purchasing, negotiation, manufacturing, customer service and inventory management. Tony was with Ryerson. He holds a degree in Marketing from the University of Toledo.
