Rachel ContichRachel Contich is the Rotary Club of Cleveland's Excellence in Accounting honoree for 2023. Rachel was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she attended high school at Calvary Christian Academy. After graduating in 2019, she entered Cleveland State in August of that year.

After graduating this spring from CSU summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Rachel plans to return to Cleveland State in the Fall of 2023 to begin work on her MBA and to study for the CPA exam.

Rachel has been a member of the Cleveland State Women’s swim team for the past four years and was captain for the past two years. In addition, she was named a member of the Horizon League All-Academic Team for the past two years. Rachel says she has loved her time at CSU as she has been able to experience the city of Cleveland and has become an avid Cleveland sports fan because of it. She is beyond excited to continue her education in Cleveland for an additional year.
