Morgan E. Hermensky

Morgan HermenskyMorgan E. Hermensky is the Rotary Club of Cleveland's Excellence in General Business honoree for 2024. Morgan was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 2003. She grew up in Macedonia and graduated from Nordonia High School. She chose Cleveland State University because she, quote “absolutely loves the city of Cleveland!”

Morgan is majoring in General Business and minoring in Marketing and Health Care Management. Throughout college, she maintained a GPA of 3.8 or better and will graduate in just three years with the help of college level and advanced placement courses taken in high school. While in college, she held four jobs, three of which she is currently doing.

During her freshman year, she began working as a server at Alfredos in Mayfield, where she still works. She also was a hostess at Cibreo in Playhouse Square until she was offered a position as a server at Harry Buffalo on East 4th.

Morgan says, “I love all the wonderful events that bring the crowds and energy to Cleveland! My most interesting experience was receiving a very generous tip from a visiting professional football player who later scored the winning touchdown in this year’s Superbowl, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr."

Morgan also works as a Branch Marketing Specialist with CrossCountry Mortgage. She says the job is providing her with administrative and clerical experience while teaching her important people skills. Morgan will graduate in May and hopes to find a full-time job in the Cleveland area that will utilize her business knowledge and people experience.
