Points of Pride

Erin M. Bukach

Erin BukachOn Thursday, April 30th 2020, the Rotary Club of Cleveland presented Erin Bukach with the Awards of Excellence in General Business. Erin graduated from Parma Senior High School in 2016. During her freshman year at CSU, she helped create and organize the Cleveland State Women's Club Basketball team as a Founding Member and Treasurer. Erin took over as the club's President after her sophomore season.

The team was set to compete in the NIRSA National Tournament at Wichita State University for the third year in a row while also fighting for a top seed in their NCBBA league. Sadly, their 2019-2020 season came to an end due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While Erin was sad to see her senior season end abruptly, the team has been one of her most rewarding endeavors and she is proud of what she and her team mates have built in her four years at CSU.

Erin worked as a Student Records Assistant within the records department at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in her freshman and sophomore years at Cleveland State. She was also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Sports Club Council.

In January of 2018, Erin began working at the NASA Glenn Research Center as a Lean Six Sigma Pathways intern. She recently accepted a full-time position within the Center Operations Directorate, which she will be starting after graduation. Erin is set to begin her MBA program at Cleveland State in Fall of 2020.
