Anh Nguyen

Anh Nguyen is the Rotary Club of Cleveland's Excellence in Information Systems. Anh is an international student from Vietnam. Her journey has been exciting and challenging at the same time. "It was exciting because I have experienced so much," Anh said. "I have opened my eyes to many different cultures and learned so many things while studying at CSU. But at the same time, I have also come cross many difficulties, especially during the first few months after I came to the U.S. such as language and cultural barriers, food and Cleveland weather."

Anh graduates in May 2019 with a final GPA of 3.9. "The Rotary Award for Excellence in Information Systems means a lot to me. It encourages me to work harder and reminds me that my efforts will pay off," she said.

After graduation, Anh plans to find an internship or full-time career position to apply the knowledge and skills she has acquired to the real world and explore more career options. She plans to return to school for a master's degree to get more in-depth knowledge in her chosen field.

The Rotary Club of Cleveland congratulated Anh on her excellence in Information Systems on April 22nd 2021.
