Edson "Ted" Arneault

Ted ArneaultTed Arneault served as president and chief executive officer of Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort, located in Chester, West Virginia and president, CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors of MTR Gaming Group, Inc. MTR's wholly-based subsidiaries include Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort and the Speedway Casino in Las Vegas. Mr. Arneault became CEO of Mountaineer in 1995, taking Mountaineer from a $5.2 million operating loss to an operating profit of $34.9 million in 2000.

A former CPA, Arneault earned his bachelor of business administration from Bowling Green State University, his master of arts degree from Wayne State University, and his MBA from Cleveland State University in 1978. From 1969 to 1972, Arneault served as an officer in the United States Air Force, serving in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He was inducted into the College of Business Hall of Fame in 2009.
