Ralph Tachji is the Rotary Club of Cleveland's Excellence honoree in Information Systems for 2024. Ralph grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Mayfield High School in 2020. Ralph says, “During my time here as an Information Systems major, I have enjoyed the various classes I have taken which have taught me about technological applications and the world of business. In addition, I have enjoyed all the friendships I have made. Now nearing my graduation at the end of this semester, I am excited to start this next chapter of my life.”

Ralph plans to explore job opportunities in fields such as data analytics, cybersecurity and software development. He is also eager to learn more about new technologies and keep himself updated by earning industry certifications. About the future, Ralph says, “I am very excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, and I look forward to being able to apply all my knowledge and skills in the real world.”

Outside of academics and work. Ralph enjoys spending his free time going for jogs and enjoying the outdoors. He also likes to go fishing in all the wonderful scenic bodies of water in the Cleveland area. and nature areas here in Cleveland.

Regarding an exciting experience, Ralph said, “I got to go on a trip to Dubai where I got to visit many amazing places such as the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world. Getting to see the city of Dubai from above was a breathtaking experience. Traveling is something that I hope to be able to do more of throughout my life.”
