Michael J. BerthelotMichael J. Berthelot founded Cito Capital Corporation in February 2003. Cito Capital Corporation provides assistance to management teams and owners of small and middle-market businesses in developing creative solutions to corporate issues involving strategy, operations, corporate governance, and divestitures, mergers, and acquisitions.

Berthelot founded Cito Capital Corportation following his retirement as chief executive officer of TransTechnology Corporation, a publicly traded multinational manufacturer of industrial and aerospace equipment and componenets. During his twelve-year tenure as CEO, the company completed ten acquisitions including fifteen different operations. Revenues grew from $54 million in 1991 to $328 million in 2001.

Berthelot continues to serve as non-executive chairman of TransTechnology's Board of Directors. 

Berthelot holds a BS in accounting from the University of Akron and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He is a CPA who has served as a member of more than 30 boards worldwide. Berthelot writes and speaks nationally on corporate strategy and governance issues.
