LouTisler.jpgIn February of 2017, Lou Tisler joined the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) based in Washington, D.C. The NCRC serves member organizations nationally and works with community leaders, policymakers and financial institutions to champion fairness in banking, housing and business development.

Prior to joining the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, Lou had regularly testified before Congress about housing and lending issues before and after the foreclosure crisis. Lou served as the Executive Director of the Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland for 10 years. Prior to that, he served as the first-ever director of the Suburbs Development Council, the first government-led advocacy group in the country working to revitalize mature communities. Lou earned his BBA in 1992 and his MBA in 1994 and credits Cleveland State University with  planting the roots of his commitment to building communities.

In 2015, Lou was named one of Cleveland State University's Fascinating Alumni in 2015. You can read more about his story here.
