Kim Ruggeri - Royal WeddingThe Royal Treatment

While in London leading a faculty-led study abroad experience for students in May of 2018, Kim Ruggeri was treated to a rare opportunity to be one of the 1,200 people invited to the grounds of Windsor Castle for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Her front row seat at the entrance to St. George's Chapel gave her a VIP view of royalty and celebrity guests. Kim's counterpart at BUCKS New University received the invitation for two because of volunteer service to the community and invited her on the final and only free day of the study abroad experience in London.

Kim was interviewed by both Cleveland.com and Fox 8.

In addition to leading students on study abroad experiences, Kim specializes in teaching courses such as Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Consulting and Fundamentals of Marketing for the Monte Ahuja College of Business. She is the faculty advisor for the student chapter of the American Marketing Association at Cleveland State.

Prior to teaching at CSU, Kim worked for over 10 years at Wyse Advertising and Brokaw, advertising agencies in Cleveland. In her roles at the agencies, she managed advertising accounts for clients such as Sherwin-Williams, White Castle, The Cleveland Museum of Art and The Cleveland Indians. She is a 2017 recipient of the Golden Apple Award, an initiative sponsored by the Young Alumni Council to recognize outstanding contributions of dedicated faculty and staff to the lives of students.
