Jeff Susbauer is a former Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Management. He has been helping entrepreneurs and their businesses since he first came to Cleveland in 1970. He was a member of the faculty of the College of Business for over 35 years and continued to teach the capstone strategy and entrepreneurship courses to both graduate and undergraduate students.

Together with his partner Robert J. Baker, Jr., he co-founded the COSE Strategic Planning Course in 1979. Dr. Susbauer was a frequent speaker to trade associations and other groups on subjects including strategic planning, ownership/leadership succession and the customer acquisition process. He was an active consultant to business owners, helping them with developing and executing their business and exit strategies. He served on several boards of private enterprises and non-profit organizations.
