Claire Maltman has been selected as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Scholar for the 2021-2022 academic year. She has earned one of the most prestigious scholarships given by the accounting profession.

"This is the fifth year in a row that a Cleveland State Accounting student has been awarded this scholarship," said Dr. Heidi Meier. "It is extremely unusual that universities are chosen in back-to-back years for this award."

Claire is a member of Beta Alpha Psi and competes with the CSU Division I NCCAA fencing team.

Previous PCAOB scholars include Selena Melendez (2020-2021), Sarah Robertson (2019-2020), Venus Tadrzak (2018-2019) and Mercedes Hobbs (2017-2018).
