Andrew BaileyOn Saturday, February 5, 2022, Andrew Bailey (BBA – Marketing, 2015 and men’s golf) will be inducted into the Cleveland State Department of Athletics Hall of Fame at the Wolstein Center. Andrew, who played golf for CSU from 2011 through 2014, was an integral part of building a men's golf program into a perennial Horizon League Championship contender, leading the Vikings to the top of the Horizon League twice during his outstanding career. A three-time Horizon League Player oAndrew Baileyf the Year (2012, 2013, 2014), Andrew graduated as the Cleveland State record holder in single-season scoring average (72.3), career scoring average (73.5), single-season wins (3), career wins (5), and career par or better rounds (48). Two of Andrew’s individual wins came at the 2011 and 2014 Horizon League Championships, making him one of just three players in league history to earn multiple medalist honors at the #HLGolf Championships. 

In addition to his Player of the Year honors, Andrew was also named the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year in 2011, while earning First Team All-League accolades all four seasons of his CSU career. Andrew is one of just two league players to earn three Player of the Year honors, while he is one of five league players to be named to the All-League Team four times.

Andrew BaileyAndrew led the Vikings to a pair of Horizon League titles, helping Cleveland State capture the tournament championship during the 2011 and 2014 campaigns.  

He will become the fourth men's golf student-athlete to be inducted into the Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame. 

“This is a well-deserved honor for Andrew,” said Kim Ruggeri, Marketing Department lecturer and advisor for the CSU Chapter of the American Marketing Association. “While he was excelling in golf at CSU, he was also an integral part of CSU's team for the American Marketing Association case competition. He was a trusted teammate who helped the team deliver an exceptional marketing plan earning honorable mention recognition. Congratulations to Andrew for his induction into the CSU Athletics Hall of Fame!”
