AMA Case Competition 2021

The Cleveland State University team that participated in the American Marketing Association (AMA) Collegiate Case Competition received a semi-finalist recognition placing the CSU team in the top 18 universities nationwide and as the number one university in Ohio.

"This group of students worked extremely well together as a team and as a result they developed a strategic and creative marketing plan," said AMA Advisor Professor Kim Ruggeri. "I am proud of all their work - from the research they diligently gathered to the unique media and creative recommendations they made. It was a pleasure to work with every one of these students."

The 2021 client was Amazon Prime Student. The challenge was to develop a marketing plan to increase trial membership signups and membership engagement. The Cleveland State students who participated in the competition include:
