49th Annual Rotary Awards of Excellence

On April 20, 2017, the Rotary Club of Cleveland presented Cleveland State University students with Awards of Excellence at Windows on the River. Presiding over the awards was Dr. Edward G. Thomas, program coordinator, past president of the Rotary Club of Cleveland and Professor of Marketing Emeritus at the Monte Ahuja College of Business.

The Rotary Awards of Excellence Program began in 1969. Dr. William E. "Bill" Schlender, who was dean of the James J. Nance College of Business Administration from 1968 until 1975, was a member of the Rotary Club of Cleveland and worked with the Rotary Club to recognize the most outstanding graduating students from the College.
