My name is Brigid Campbell, and I serve as an Assistant College Lecturer within the Department of Information Systems. Before joining Cleveland State University, I developed my technical expertise as an IT consultant and provided training for developers at various local organizations. My career spans years of designing custom software solutions, database systems, and fully integrated management platforms on a global scale. Resolving clients’ IT system issues was a daily occurrence.

As an alumna of CSU, I am pleased to contribute to preparing future IT professionals in Northeast Ohio. My practical experience informs my teaching approach, with an emphasis on teamwork, mastery of contemporary technological methods, and their application in business contexts. I encourage continued curiosity and critical analysis in addressing emerging challenges and new technologies. I was honored to receive the CSU’s Golden Apple Award, nominated by alumni in recognition of excellence in teaching.

My research focuses on leveraging deep learning, model training, and medical data at the intersection of technology and healthcare. A key professional objective is to make a tangible, positive impact on community health.

Areas of expertise include blockchain, cloud computing, programming in C#, JAVA, and Python, data analytics, and the integration of artificial intelligence in Big Data.
