Applied Learning Experience Timeline

Students

1. Apply for the program by end of Week 3 above.
2. Review co-op positions available and apply for positions that you are interested in by the end of Week 7 above.
3. Negotiate or accept offers by the end of Week 12 above.
4. Begin the co-op at the start of the next Semester.

FLEXIBLE SESSION LENGTHS

Any full-time session length beyond 8 weeks

• 8 – 10 weeks (summer semester)
• 15 weeks (fall or spring semester)
• 6 months (January through June OR July through December)

Employers

1. Submit co-op positions to the co-op coordinator by Week 2 above.
2. Review applications and contact students prior to the end of Week 7 above.
3. Schedule interviews prior to the end of Week 9 above.
4. Select candidates and make offers before the end of Week 11 above.
5. Be ready to have co-op student on site at the start of the next semester.
