Shih-Lun (Allen) Tseng is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Monte Ahuja College of Business. He earned his Ph.D. and M.B.A. from Clemson University and his B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

His research focuses on design features, specifically in gamified information systems, virtual reality, crowdfunding, e-commerce, and online reviews. His work has appeared in premier outlets such as Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, and Journal of Interactive Marketing.

He regularly serves as an associate editor for the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS).

He enjoys teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and guiding doctoral research. He regularly teaches Data Visualization and Emerging Technologies in Information Systems.

In his spare time, Dr. Tseng trains in Kung-Fu and is a regular performer at cultural events, including Cleveland's Asian Festival, Chinese New Year, and Mid-Autumn Festival. He is also a gold medalist in national and international tournaments.
