Kyle Nash

Dr. Kyle Nash is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Cleveland State University, where he teaches and researches at the intersection of people, technology, and organizations. His scholarship explores how individuals build their digital identities, how organizations create effective governance for information systems, and how innovation can drive sustainability through Green IS. He also studies emerging frontiers such as the Metaverse, considering how virtual spaces are reshaping the way people work, learn, and connect.

Beyond research, Dr. Nash is deeply committed to student success. He believes that information systems education should empower students not only with technical skills, but also with the ability to think critically about the impact of technology on business and society. In his classrooms, he emphasizes real-world applications, case studies, and hands-on practice, helping students bridge the gap between theory and practice. His goal is to inspire students to see themselves not just as users of technology, but as future leaders, innovators, and change agents in the digital age.

Dr. Nash’s work has contributed to conversations on IT identity, sustainability, governance, and digital innovation, and he is passionate about preparing the next generation to thrive in an era where information systems are at the heart of organizational success and social progress.
