Apo Oguz

Hi. I’m Dr. Abdullah “Apo” Oğuz (Oh-ooz), Assistant Professor in the Information Systems department at CSU. I research the human side of technology at work, exploring how online behavior unfolds, when it becomes harmful, and how AI and project management practices can be designed to promote well-being and make a real impact. Previously, I helped lead EU-funded modernization projects in Turkey’s Customs Administration for over a decade, collaborating with cross-agency and international teams. That experience influences my teaching: every course includes hands-on projects and measurable results. Students leave with a portfolio piece and a clearer understanding of careers at the intersection of IT and business. I hold the PMP (Project Management Professional) credential. If you want to turn research into practice, let’s talk.

Areas of Expertise: Project management, individual, organizational, and social impact of AI, workplace cyberbullying, Information Systems, emerging technologies
