This event is part of Mortgage Banking Bound, a career development program launched in partnership with the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and featured in this MBA news article. The program is designed to prepare students for high-demand roles in mortgage origination and processing — and CSU is proud to be the first university in the country to host it.

These organizations have been involved throughout the semester with FIN 493: Mortgage Loan Origination and Processing, a practical, industry-connected course that gives students the tools and knowledge to launch careers in mortgage banking.

Interested in taking FIN 493 next spring?
The course will be offered again in Spring 2026 for junior and senior-level students in the Monte Ahuja College of Business. Students engage directly with mortgage professionals, explore compliance and risk assessment, and gain a real-world understanding of the lending process.
