Weston Summer Accelerator

The Weston Ideation Lab Accelerator Summer Internship program is a PAID, 8-week, structured internship that assists student entrepreneurs or those with startups to work full-time on their venture.

If you have an existing business, a side hustle you would like to take to the next level or are launching a startup, this program is for you. 

This is a PAID internship program, but you must apply here before MARCH 31, 2025.

As part of the internship, you are expected to have office hours in the Weston Ideation Lab on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM unless otherwise arranged with the Weston Ideation Lab team.

• June 10, 11, 12
• June 17, 18
• June 24, 25, 26
• June 27, 28, 29
• July 8, 9, 10
• July 15, 16, 17
• July 22, 23

Summer Accelerator startups will be selected by April 30, 2025.

Application Process: 

Phase 1: Application Submission

• Step 1: Complete the online application form with all required details about your startup or idea.
• Step 2: Submit the form by the deadline. Make sure all information is accurate and comprehensive.

Phase 2: Pitch Presentation

• Step 1: If selected for Phase 2, you will be invited to present a brief pitch for your business or technology.
• Step 2: Prepare your pitch according to the following required slides:
  1. Problem: Clearly state the significant problem or need your business addresses.
  2. Solution: Describe your technology or business idea and explain how it effectively solves the identified problem.
  3. Market Opportunity: Specify the industry you are targeting and quantify how many people or organizations experience the problem.
  4. Business Model: Outline how you plan to generate revenue and sustain your business.
  5. Competition: Identify similar companies or technologies and describe how your solution differs from or improves upon them.
  6. Traction: Provide evidence of progress, such as prototypes, customer interviews, partnerships, or any paying customers or pilots you’ve secured.
• Step 3: Submit your pitch materials according to the guidelines that will be provided.

Phase 3: Selection of Final Cohort

• Step 1: The Weston Ideation Lab team will review all pitch presentations and evaluate based on the business potential, innovation, and fit with the accelerator’s goals.
• Step 2: Final selections will be made, and the chosen startups will be notified of their acceptance into the summer accelerator program.
