Accounting Education & Advising Business Degree Progression Services

Part of The Glasscock Academic Center

The Accounting Education & Advising Business Degree Progression Services will provide services to educate current students about the academic requirements and degree progression completion standards for undergraduate and graduate accounting programs based on *AACSB accreditation standards for business degree progression.

In addition, the services will provide direct one-on-one appointments for prospective undergraduate and graduate students interested in accounting education programs and our academic degree progression standards and requirements.

*AACSB International is the largest business education network and global standard-setting body for business education. We connect educators, students, and businesses to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders.

Our services support the following:

Admitted to the Accounting programs:

  • Undergraduate students admitted into the BBA Accounting major program.
  • Undergraduate students admitted into Accounting, Governance, Risk and Compliance and Taxation minor.
  • Graduate students admitted into the Master of Accountancy and Analytics
  • Graduate students admitted into accounting certificate programs.

Prospective students:

  • High school students who are interested in learning about undergraduate accounting education programs.
  • Transfer students interested in learning about undergraduate accounting education programs.
  • CSU undergraduate students are interested in learning more about graduate accounting education programs.
  • Non-CSU students who are interested in learning about graduate accounting education programs.
  • Professionals are interested in learning about graduate accounting education programs.

Meet with an Accounting Education Advisor Coordinator to review and understand accounting program requirements based on the “Accounting Degree Progression Plan” required for undergraduate and graduate programs approved by the accounting faculty of the Monte Ahuja College of Business and accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
