Cleveland State University Business Students Honored at the 48th Annual Rotary Awards of Excellence
On April 28, 2016, the Rotary Club of Cleveland presented Cleveland State University students with Awards of Excellence at Windows on the River. Presiding over the awards was Dr. Edward G. Thomas, past president of the Rotary Club of Cleveland and Professor of Marketing Emeritus at the Monte Ahuja College of Business. Dr. Oya Tukel, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and Student Services for the College and Beverly Ghent-Skrzynski, current president of the Rotary Club presented.

The Rotary Awards of Excellence Program began in 1969. Dr. William E. "Bill" Schlender, who was dean of the James J. Nance College of Business Administration from 1968 until 1975, was a member of the Rotary Club of Cleveland and worked with the Rotary Club to recognize the most outstanding graduating students from the College.
