NOAA opportunity for Real Estate and Property Management Students

Are you looking for an experiential learning opportunity?  

Participate in this event and you will connect with working real estate and multi-family housing professionals. The Northern Ohio Apartment Association (NOAA) is looking for CSU students to act as judges for our annual Key Awards.

Headquartered in Cleveland, NOAA represents over 250,000 apartment units and over 600 members in over 35 Ohio counties. Our membership includes companies like NRP, Greystar, K&D, GCI Residential, RHM, along with vendors such as IGS, Sherwin-Williams, Belfor, Zillow, Lowe's, and many more.

NOAA's apartment awards recognize more than 200 apartment communities across Northern Ohio. As a judge, you would be assigned a route with 6-7 properties on Judging Day (June 24th) and grade each property based on its signage, leasing office, unit model, exterior building condition, landscaping, and overall community. 

This is a great opportunity for up-and-coming real estate professionals to visit different types of properties in the Cleveland-Akron area, watch onsite property staff in action and see firsthand what makes an apartment community stand out.

On June 24th, judges, drivers, and mentors will meet at the Holiday Inn Cleveland-S Independence at 6001 Rockside Rd in Independence for breakfast. All judges, drivers, and mentors will leave the hotel around 9 a.m. Judges will be grouped into pairs with a NOAA vendor as a driver and an experienced real estate professional as a mentor and judge for the entire route. 

As a judge, CSU students will be able to attend and be recognized at NOAA's Key Awards Gala on September 10th at the Holiday Inn. Over 500 industry professionals attend this event.
