The Cleveland Guardians/Cleveland State University Ticket Sales Academy is the ultimate training ground for aspiring sales professionals who dream of breaking into the competitive world of professional sports and ticket sales. Whether you are an undergraduate student or a recent graduate from Cleveland State University just starting to take your career to the next level, this sales academy is the perfect place to achieve your goals.

About the program:
Our program is designed to help you learn how to sell and interact with prospects that are passionate about the game of baseball. From understanding the nuances of the business side of the sport, to building meaningful relationships with customers, our curriculum covers everything you need to know to excel in this fast-paced and competitive field.
You will learn:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business of baseball, including the current trends and challenges in the industry, as well as the various revenue streams and marketing strategies involved.
- Acquire effective communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with customers and prospects, including active listening, empathy, and persuasion techniques.
- Learn how to conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations, including how to identify and address customer needs and objections, and how to close deals in a competitive environment.
- Gain hands-on experience through real-world scenarios and role-playing exercises, working alongside seasoned professionals to develop practical skills and strategies for succeeding in the fast-paced and competitive world of baseball sales.
