Mortgage Banking Certificate
Mortgage banking plays an essential role in both the real estate market and the broader financial sector. With over $12 trillion currently owed on mortgages—representing nearly 70% of total U.S. consumer debt*—this field remains a cornerstone of the American economy. As the market evolves through growth, innovation, and changing regulations, the demand for skilled mortgage loan professionals continues to rise.
Developed in collaboration with mortgage banking professionals and industry partners, the curriculum reflects real-world trends and workforce needs. This will help prepare students for roles such as mortgage loan officer, underwriter, loan processor, servicing specialist, and compliance analysis.
This program is designed with flexibility in mind. Many courses are offered online, they are interactive, and career focused. Students are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in this dynamic industry.

- FIN 351 for FIN 461, FIN 477, and FIN 479
- Junior standing or above for FIN 475
