About Gloria Cortes, Ph.D.:
Gloria Cortes is a Senior Manager at KeyBank within the Business Risk and Controls (BRC) organization, where she leads the Business Process Risk Identification (BPRI) program and Specialized Verification Testing. She graduated from Walden University with a doctorate degree in Management specializing in Finance, with her dissertation topic focused on how bank employees experience change implementation. Gloria is a Financial Services industry professional with 20 years of experience, with experience ranging from having managed the valuation and sale of HUD real estate portfolios of $50mm to managing enterprise risk frameworks within the banking industry, including data analytics and board reporting. She is passionate leader dedicated to mentoring and coaching individuals to become their most authentic and successful selves. Her leadership style includes building trust and bringing her most authentic self forward so those around her are comfortable and confident to do the same.
