Jay Schach spent over 30 years as a serial entrepreneur in the manufacturing, transportation and construction industries. Upon retirement, Jay decided to share his years of experience and knowledge as an entrepreneur and enter the education sector. Jay was instrumental in launching the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative at Chagrin Falls High School which included the establishment of the Innovation Lab, Maker Space and a portfolio of interdisciplinary entrepreneurship courses.
Jay is a current Weston Ideation Lab Mentor and an Adjunct Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Cleveland State University. In addition to teaching at CSU and Chagrin Falls High School, Jay has taught at Hiram College, John Carroll University and Kent State University.
Jay has served on the Board of Directors for the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) and was Treasurer for the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC).
