London/England: May 2015

Cleveland State Business Students in LondonThis study abroad experience provided students with hands-on research skills as well as the opportunity to interact with many sectors of the British business community.

Prior to departure, the students worked with Northeast Ohio companies to design research projects, write proposals, conduct background research and identify British organizations and target segments to interview based on client needs.

Students then spent 8 days in England during the break between spring semester and first summer session conducting research and interviews with British organizations, businesses, agencies and consumers.  Students and faculty at BUCKS New University outside of London hosted students. Kim Ruggeri, director of the program, and college lecturer for the marketing department led the tour and supervised student research. In addition to the tour, four class sessions were held and completed reports were submitted in June.
