The Graduate Certificate in Applied Econometrics and Forecasting provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to unify mathematics, statistics and economic theory. Students can use this knowledge to further develop models that can help their organizations (in both the public and private sectors) forecast for the future, analyze customer behavior, identify risks, predict economic outcomes and aid in resource allocation.
Curriculum Overview:
The program consists of four courses. Two courses are required and two are electives.
Required Courses:
- ECN 622 Econometrics
- ECN 625 Time Series Econometrics
Elective Courses (choose two from the list below):
- ECN 627 Applied Economic Analysis I
- ECN 628 Applied Economic Analysis II
- ECN 541 Business Cycle Fluctuations and Forecasting
