International Marketing and Business Research in London

This study abroad experience provides students with hands-on research skills, the opportunity to travel and interaction with many sectors of the British business community.  During spring semester, teams of students will be provided a client who is seeking research in England.  Prior to departure, the student teams will prepare research proposals based on client needs.  Students then spend 8 days in England during the break between spring semester and first summer session conducting research and interviews with British organizations, businesses, agencies and consumers.  Students and faculty at BUCKS New University (outside of London) will host the CSU group. 
 

International Company and Industry Tour in Barcelona

Students will be exposed to the culture and business practices in Spain and the European Union, as well as to business practices of the home-nations of several international suppliers including a large Japanese company.  This program is intended to broaden students’ awareness of international business climate, operations, management, product as well as international business strategy. Showcasing several Spanish and American companies (including Lincon Electric), students will learn first-hand of the challenges faced by international companies in the areas of trade agreements, foreign currency exchange, intellectual property and other challenges of conducting international business in today's world.
