Beta Gamma Sigma! 

Based on your outstanding academic performance, you have been selected for membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society and the highest scholastic recognition awarded by the Monte Ahuja College of Business. 

Beta Gamma Sigma is a lifetime honor society. Membership is offered exclusively at AACSB-accredited business schools and signifies superior academic achievement, integrity, and leadership. The one-time $75 membership fee includes your engraved membership certificate and official lapel pin.

Eligible students may also apply for the scholarship established by the late Professor Sanford Jacobs and administered by the Monte Ahuja College of Business.

What You Need to Do

1. Complete your Beta Gamma Sigma Membership Application

• You will receive an email directly from Beta Gamma Sigma with instructions to complete your official membership application and submit the $75 one-time lifetime membership fee.

 2. Please submit CSU Chapter materials by the end of the day, April 10, 2026

• Complete the CSU Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter Registration HERE
• Complete the Scholarship Application (optional). The Scholarship Application is closed. 

Induction Ceremony and Reception

• Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. in the lobby.
• Location: College of Business Auditorium (BU 118), 1860 East 18th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44115
• Light refreshments will be served.

Graduation Honor Cords (Optional)

Beta Gamma Sigma honor cords may be worn at commencement and are available for $15 (cash only). Cords may be purchased at the induction ceremony and will be available from April 30 through May 8 in the Dean's Office (BU420).

What is Beta Gamma Sigma?

• Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honor society serving students enrolled in AACSB-accredited business programs. It recognizes the top percentage of business students for academic excellence.

Is membership required to participate in the Induction Ceremony?

• Yes, you must have secured your membership with Beta Gamma Sigma National and also submitted your CSU Chapter Registration form to the Monte Ahuja College of Business to participate in the ceremony hosted on campus. 

What happens if I do not pay the $75 membership fee?

• If you do not complete the official Beta Gamma Sigma application and submit the $75 fee, your membership will not be activated, and you will not be inducted.

Can I apply for the scholarship if I miss the April 10 deadline?

• No, all scholarship materials must be submitted by end of day April 10, 2026.
