Business Acceleration through Shared Experience (BASE) Roundtables

A year-round sustained, high-quality peer support experience

Cleveland State University (CSU) invites applications for the Business Acceleration through Shared Experience Roundtables (BASE) cohort program.  With funding provided by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation, CSU will bring together two cohorts of entrepreneurs to participate in a year-round experience of sustained, high-quality peer support. Built on the PeerSpectives® method provided by the Edward Lowe Foundation, BASE creates founder-driven cohorts designed for candid conversations and real progress. Cohorts will meet on a monthly basis in a facilitated discussion with a mix of in-person and virtual meetings. 

Program Details

• Cost: Free of charge

• Frequency: One session each month, about 2 hours each

• Cohort Size: 12-18 members

• Format: Alternating between virtual and in-person sessions at Bounce Innovation Hub or CSU

• Application: Interested participants must apply to join a cohort.

Apply for one of the following cohort groups:

Cohort A: 

Growth-mode entrepreneurs from any industry with annual revenues between $250,000 and $1 million, preferably with between 5 and 25 employees. Meet once a month on Wednesdays from 4 - 6 PM. See full schedule here. 

Cohort B: 

Founders of food-based businesses that include small-scale food producers, catering companies, food trucks, bakeries, early-stage restaurants, or any business in the food industry. Companies will ideally be between $100,000 and $500,000 in annual revenue with at least 2 employees (including the Founder). Meet once a month on Tuesdays from 2 - 4 PM. See full schedule here.
