Graduate Certificate in Applied Econometrics and Forecasting

Program Description

This 4-course certificate helps students with economic background to advance their career without pursuing a Master’s degree in economics. The program is designed to equip the students with modern econometric techniques and how to apply them in analyzing observational data. Completing the certificate, the students are able to use economic theory to design econometric models to estimate causal effect and conduct forecasting. The students will also learn to master a statistical software, e.g. Stata or R.

Applicants for the following program must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the College of Business.
